Tips sought in house fire arson probe

Chatham-Kent police are asking the public's help in a Chatham house fire arson probe.

Chatham-Kent police seek the public’s help in a house fire investigation. A fire broke out at a vacant home at 170 Edgar St. around 12:20 a.m. on January 18, 2025.

“The initial fire investigation has determined that there were several points of origin within the residence and as a result, the fire has been deemed to be intentionally set,” police said.
